About Princeton
Hi I’m Princeton a Pomeranian x Maltese and I am 2 years and 3 months old and I’m a whole bunch of fluffy love!
I am 6.2kgs and stand about 30 cms high (from my shoulder to my paws)
I came into care about 6 weeks ago and my foster mum has been working on my manners she says I’m a cheeky boy and if you give me an inch I will take a mile. I keep telling her that is the Pomeranian in me – she often shakes her head at me.
My foster mum asked me to give her some notes I wanted my new family too know so here goes.
I love spending my time either sitting on your lap or chasing a tennis ball – yep two really different things but that is how I roll.
If you do go to work thru the day or go out, you are guaranteed that I will give you a happy dance of epic proportions when you get home and tell you all about my day and how badly I have been treated – I am a bit dramatic sometimes.
When you leave to go somewhere I will sing you the song of my people and dance and be very dramatic but then the minute you leave I’m all good – as I know I have sent you off with the guilt’s and the ‘feel sorry for me’s’ hee hee.
Obviously I would adore a home where someone is there to cater to my every whim but if not that’s okay I can entertain myself while you’re at work.
I am currently in a home where my foster mum works and I hang out with other dogs thru the day – I am bit of a party pooper sometimes as I like to play with other dogs but on my terms and when I want – but I do get along with them for the most part.
My foster mum says I do need to work on my manners when it comes to sharing my humans lap with my foster fur siblings but my foster mum tells me no and then puts me down off her lap – and it does help me to remember my manners.
I love going for walks but will need to be walked on a harness as I get caught up in the moment and pull like a miniature steam train lucky I'm only little. My foster mum says with some continued trained and constant walking that this will improve – she said she has already seen an improvement in me.
I also absolutely love car rides – who wouldn’t – the wind in our fur - the company and spending time together – love it!
I am not cat tested
I do sleep in a crate at night but that’s cause I can be a bit jumpy if fast asleep and accidentally startled
Now I know I probably sound like a bit of hard work for some people but I promise the love and laughs I provide make me worth it.
I am currently living with a 10 year old boy who I’m fine with but I can snap at small children if they are trying to take a toy off me so the rescue thinks it would be best to be in a home with no kids under the age of 10 living at the home.
I have a lovely fluffy coat that does require regularly grooming. I came into care a bit matted but the rescue sent me off for a nice groom – the lady said I was very well behaved
If you are looking for a happy little man to share your life with please click on the adoption link and hopefully we will meet really soon.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
