About Monte
Monte’s personality:
Monte is a 12 year old Maltese who loves to be around his humans and will snuggle up at any opportunity. One of his favourite pastimes is napping and he loves having a cosy bed to cuddle into. Monte is past his days of playing with toys and would much prefer to follow you around as you go about your day. He also loves going for walks and trots along as if he is on a very important mission!
Monte’s ideal forever home:
Monte would suit a home where someone is around most of the day and has the time to spend with him as he does not like being on his own. He would suit any kind of home where he can spend his days relaxing – but sometimes lots of noise can be a bit much for him!
Monte’s story:
Monte was in his previous home for almost 6 years and had been with his brother Saxon for his whole life. Due to a family health emergency, their loving human mum had to make the very difficult decision to find them a new home. Very sadly, Saxon recently crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years old. Monte has had a lot of changes in a short amount of time and has now settled in with one of our regular foster families (and their two doggies) who are making sure he is very spoilt as he adjusts.
More about Monte:
Monte is a sweet 12 year old boy who is looking for his forever home. He prefers company and would love to snuggle up on the couch with you watching tv. Add in a walk every day and he will be the happiest boy you ever did meet!
Monte’s adoption fee is $400 which contributes towards providing his care to date.
Medical notes
Monte’s medical history:
Monte is currently on medication to ease his anxiety and is also desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea, tick and worming preventatives. He has just recently had a dental procedure, so his teeth are glistening clean and pearly white! Monte is a healthy senior boy, ready to find his new home!
