Are you an outdoorsy family/couple looking for a companion to take on adventures? Do you like warm cuddles on the couch while watching a movie? Do you work from home and want a companion to accompany you on outings? Then Spotty Bear is the dog for you!
Spotty Bear is a loving and cuddly girl, with a heart as big as she is! Spotty Bear adores spending time with her humans and with other dogs. She is friendly to a fault and has the most adorable four-legged bounce when excited (usually upon seeing her humans)!
Spotty Bear is a sporty girl who loves to hike, walk, run or swim - the perfect outgoing companion for an active family! She is also great with other dogs, so is a joy to take to the park or beach, and she loves riding in the car. Spotty Bear bonds incredibly strongly with her ‘special people’, so becomes worried when she is left alone for too long. Spotty Bear needs an understanding owner who can work with her to become more independent, and who can ensure she is not left alone for long periods of time whilst learning. Spotty Bear is still in her puppy phase and will need enough physical and mental stimulation to ensure she doesn’t become destructive when left alone. Spotty Bear is looking for a home with another canine companion, to show her the ropes as she grows older.
Spotty Bear has wonderful house manners, is perfectly toilet trained and has her obedience commands down pat. She has mastered sit, stay, wait, back up, shake and drop. Spotty Bear is currently learning to walk nicely on a lead with a halti and she’s getting better each day. Spotty Bear is a very strong and large dog, so her new humans should continue with her training to ensure she continues to walk nicely on lead. It is imperative that Spotty Bears new family either have previous experience with large breed dogs or are willing to seek assistance to ensure Spotty Bear will continue to thrive.
Spotty Bear is truly a special dog. Her capacity to love and cuddle her humans knows no bounds. She has brought her foster carer so much joy with her infectious smile and joyful exuberance – it’s impossible not to smile when she comes bounding into the room!
If you think you have the perfect family home for Spotty Bear, we’d love to hear from you!
