About Shona
Cuddly Shona is a loyal little lady who adores the company of her people. So much so, that she gets excited when people come over to visit! If your house has the comings and goings of wonderful people, then Shona would very much like to join in the socialising!
When asked what her top 3 things in life are, Shona confidently responded with;
- lap cuddles
- pats
- company
A regular day in Shona’s life is one of simplicity and routine. Reflecting upon her 17 years Shona has decided that some sleeping, eating and a stroll outdoors is the key to a long and happy life. This is what makes her happy, and to be honest, it would make us happy too!
Being alone for long periods of time can get a little lonely, so a big request of Shona’s is a home where there are people around more often than not. As she’s getting older, she can get a little fussy with her food at times. But then again, spicing things up from time to time is a good thing (not actual spice - she doesn’t want that in her food!)

Shona is 17 years old and has just had a vet check which showed she was in great health for her age. Her teeth could do with some dentistry but, considering her age, this is something that you should discuss with your vet weighing up the risks and benefits.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
