About Miffy
Please meet Miffy, Miffy is the sweets and then bossiest little lady you will ever meet.
Miffy is a 7 year and one month old Moodle (Maltese x Poodle)
Miffy is looking for a home that understands she can be a chatterbox – Miffy loves to tell you about her day when you first arrive home and every welcome home is like you’re a long lost family member.
Miffy does this as she falls hard and fast for her human (absolutely loves her foster dad and will do a song and dance when she sees him). Be prepared to learn to be second in line if Miffy is welcoming any male into the home!
Miffy will also tell the ninja’s and the dragons off as she is protecting your property – you do not need to worry about a door bell – Miffy is already on top of that. However she will quiet down and will listen when you tell her no more.
Miffy is currently in care with other small breed dogs and loves to have a gentle play with them but will tell them off is they get too rough for her. Miffy would enjoy another dog of similar size and one that loves a small play and then a good relax and sunbake in the back yard.
So of course Miffy is a small white fluffy – so yep you guessed it – she needs someone whom is home more often than not, or retired or works from home etc. Miffy would not cope being home 8+ hours a day by herself.
Miffy has lovely manners and will wait when you tell her too and wait for permission to sit on your lap or snuggle in your bed. She will come for a little cuddle and pats and then she will happily go settle at the end of the bed for her beauty sleep.
Miffy loves her food and will be the first to finish - Miffy has had dental work while in care and that has made a huge difference for her.
Miffy loves to go for a walk – and will often do a dance when she sees or has the lead put on – her excitement is contagious.
She is house trained and happily uses the dog door.
Miffy has always lived with kids and is happy with them however does not want to be carried around by them – she is happy to use her feet and be a part of the fun until she has had enough and then she will go and snooze.
Miffy is also good with cats.
Miffy does have a coat that require grooming so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense.
If you are looking for a dog that is going to bring a lot of love into your home – please complete the below application!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust

Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
