After undergoing treatment for heartworm Miss Mitzey is ready for adoption.
If you're looking for a loyal, faithful friend then Mitzey is your girl. She loves to be around her foster mum and follows her around with no places out of bounds for her. She will lie near her humans and get up whenever they move. She can be like a kangaroo first up in the morning or when her humans come home from work, but settles quickly when she knows you're home.
Mitzey loves to go for a walk and knows what time this occurs - she can be quite demanding if her human forgets what time it is! Mitzey is very food motivated and is keen to learn new things so would benefit from additional training to keep her mind active and prevent boredom. She gets on well with her doggy foster sibling and enjoys the company of other dogs, although humans are her main focus.
Mitzey is looking for her forever home where she can get lots of cuddles and pats.
**Mitzey will require a 6 month post treatment HW test, the cost will be covered by NQAR if done at our preferred vets**
Mitzey is $350 to adopt, and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
