Meet our tiny little girl Biscotti aka biscuit.
Chihuahua sweetheart just pocket size
Biscuit’s World got turned upside down, she found herself surrendered to the pound with her best friend (who found a home straight away) and then poor Biscuit was waiting to be saved, how could we leave her alone in the pound- we quickly scooped her up and got her into a home environment where she could be loved. Biscuit has been an absolute pleasure to foster, she has the sweetest personality and adores everyone she meets. She is only 4yo and is only pocket sized ( 4.5 kilos) . She is so cute that when you come home she runs around in excitement and loves to give you kisses to tell you how much she missed you.
Now Biscuit is a very affectionate girl and if you don't like kisses please do apply because you will be licked to death lol

Favourite Things
Biscuit loves to be wherever her humans are and this includes inside, outside or even in the car. She absolutely loves her cuddles on the couch, as soon as you sit down she’s waiting to jump up and sit either on you or with you. She loves nothing more than to shower you with kisses all the time. She loves any form of affection really and, of course loves going for walks and smelling everything along the way.
Interaction With Humans
Biscuit does not discriminate at all with humans! She loves everyone including adults and kids. She is currently in foster care with a 3yo & 5yo and loves them. She will sit with them on the couch or follow them offering lots and lots of kisses. She adores her foster mum and is her little shadow, she has become quite attached to her and will do the same in her forever home.
Obedience/Training
Biscuit is very gentle when taking food from your hand and is also very patient. She walks very well on the lead. Biscuit is an absolute angel in the car, she doesn’t cry at all and will sit on the seat and normally curl up and go to sleep. She is quite happy to cruise around with her family.
Animal Social Skills
Biscuit has been in foster care with cats and the resident dog. She wasn’t a fan of the cats and would constantly bark at them- she copped a few swipes from them and has now learnt to respect them and give them space. She doesn’t like other dogs but has since warmed to the resident dog as he is very docile and non reactive. She would growl and bark at him but he just ignored her and after a few days she came around and learnt he’s a complete gentleman. So she is very selective as to who she would want as a friend so, a very easy going, polite and non reactive dog would possibly be ok.
Food
Biscuit is quite the princess when it comes to food. lol she’s not a huge fan of dry food but will eat some if her my dog is mixed through it. She loves Prime 100 which we alternate with my dog. She is fed both morning and night and gets very excited about breakfast and dinner. Biscuit is very polite when accepting food from her humans and shows no signs of food aggression whatsoever.
Independence
Biscuit has been a well behaved little girl, if she needs to be home alone and it’s a nice sunny day she will happily lay on the grass in the sun and soak in rays. She will bark if she hears something out of the ordinary or hears a neighbour out and about. She most definitely prefers to be inside though and has been left in the crate if her family need to go out and it’s a cold rainy day. She has shown no interest in toys but loves treats. She hasn’t shown any destructive behaviour whilst being in foster care.
Bathing and Hygiene
Biscuit is a very good girl to bathe, whilst it’s not her most favourite thing to do she will stand there and put up with it lol
She does shed hair and will require a brush a few times a week to help get the loose hair out.
Sleeping
Biscuit sleeps in a crate in the lounge room of a night with no problems now, she didn’t like it at first but has adapted well since being in foster care but, she would much rather be sleeping in the bed cuddled up with her humans. She’s also happy to sleep in too.lol
Exercise
Biscuit is only tiny but does love to go for a walk, it doesn’t need to be a long walk but so she can have a look at what’s going on outside in the world.
Inside the home
Biscuit is an inside dog, she is very well mannered and will just follow her human around. She loves to sit or sleep on the couch and doesn’t cause a fuss in the home at all.
Biscuit has had a few accidents in the home but is getting heaps better, she just needs her human to take her out for regular toilet breaks.
Ideal Home
Biscuit requires a home where she is an inside dog and all the attention would be on her. She would love someone to give her lots of cuddles on the couch along with belly rubs and telling her how beautiful she is. She would love her owners to be home more often than not or be able to go out and about with you. She is a sweet, polite and an amazing little girl who deserves the best of homes and in return will be a loyal and loving companion. A home with dog savvy cats would be fine but she would take time to settle with them. She would probably prefer to be the only dog in the home but could be adopted with a calm, polite and non reactive male small dog.
