Wembly and Gobo are looking for families where they are willing to include them in their day to day life, not just leave them in the backyard.

Meet the goofiest and smoochiest, roly poly puppies EVER. No silly nipping from these two handsome boys, they save their teeth for their toys and smother their people with kisses and snuggles. Wembley (stealer of all things smelly like dirty undies and socks) and Gobo (determined sneaker of cat food) are 10 week old Staffy X heeler (??), who don’t seem to be destined to be enormous, just solid, muscular wee tanks . They love to play hard and sleep harder, a blessing for those of us who like to get our full 8 hours. Crate trained, they may stir for a midnight toilet trip and munch of possum poo, but immediately resettle again until morning.

Both boys adore their kelpie x foster brother and spend much of their time worshipping at his feet, jumping in his face and following him around the yard. Wembley especially, will need a friendly brother or sister dog to shadow constantly, however Gobo is likely to be very happy with human company if no sibling is around, but is not used to sleeping alone. Dog savvy children will be adored by these boys, but please bear in mind that they will be VERY likely to be strong, muscular dogs when fully grown, and might accidentally bump small people over with their enthusiastic play.

The boys are progressing well with toilet training, but will need further help. They will sometimes wee right by the door, so a doggy door would be a great advantage for them to get outside in a hurry if you aren’t paying attention. They have started to train to walk in harnesses but, let’s be honest, it’s currently like herding cows trying to get them to walk in any sort of a straight line at the moment. Persistence, separation from their brother and patience will be your best tools. They are very smart, and will do ANYTHING for food, which they are completely obsessed with, so training should be relatively straight forward.

Due to their rambunctious natures and enormous enthusiasm for life, Wembley and Gobo will need to be socialised carefully when they are young so that they have positive experiences and learn manners around less welcoming dogs. They have developed a healthy respect for our resident cats, one of whom will tolerate her ears being licked, the other who frequently delivers a well-timed swipe to any pup daring to come near her.

These boys will be an amazing addition to any family willing to give them time, love and lavish attention on them. They would love to grow up with children, watching them play sport, go to cafes and go on holidays and trips with their new family. They have so much love to give.
