About Sardine
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
Sardine is a cuddly, turbo-charged little kitten with fur so black he looks like a little shadow - if not for the white-tipped tail giving him away! He absolutely adores his kitten siblings, playing crash tackle and chasing little toy mice around the house :)
When he's fully exhausted his energy, Sardine loves to seek out the closest warm body (be that feline or human) and settle in for a nice long nap. He's fast discovering that humans give some pretty good belly scratches!
Like all Maggie's pets, Sardine is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have plenty of room for me to investigate and explore! I've grown up with my three siblings Mackerel, Bonito and Trout (also available for adoption), and really enjoy snuggling with them and surprising them with my amazing leaps, so I'd love a nice kitty pal in my new home!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love racing around like a mad thing, wrestling with my siblings and playing with my toys. But I also love a good snuggle, especially on the couch :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm adaptable and affectionate, so I think I'd like to live with kids! I’ve met a couple of children while in foster care and had a ball playing feather toy with them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've grown up with my three siblings Mackerel, Bonito and Trout, and we get along fantastically - so I'm definitely open to making new feline friends in my new home!
I haven't met any dogs yet so I'll require a gentle introduction. Because I'm so easygoing though, I don't foresee any problems :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
