Hi, my name is Barry! As you can see from my picture, I am a very handsome boy. I am a Swiss Shephard - so if you are familiar with the breed that will definitely help you (and me) to be your new best friend!

I am a lovely affectionate boy, but I am timid with new environments and people, so whoever wants to be my new family need to understand that I will take time to settle in with them, as I am quite unsure about life.
I am looking for a quiet adult/older teen home & must meet the whole family before I go home. Someone who is home more often than not to help me adjust would be great. This will also help you build your bond with me!

My new owners will need to continue ongoing positive based training, though I have the basics down pat - I know sit, shake, drop and how to walk nicely on the lead.

I am a clever boy, so I need enrichment and exercise to keep me mentally and physically stimulated. Dog sports sound like fun - we can learn together!

I have had some interaction with other dogs, but not with cats or other small animals. I lack confidence though, so I am best suited to being your one and only pet as I am unsure of how I feel about sharing my personal space.

I am used to being indoors, and this is where I like to sleep. If I am outside I will need a very secure yard with space for me to stretch out my legs. Daily exercise is a must!
