About Marinara
*In foster care in Waterloo, Sydney*
After coming into care with a litter of four kittens, Marinara has spent the last few months being a fantastic mum - and now she's ready for retirement! Still very young herself, she has plenty of energy up her tortoiseshell sleeve and loves playing with her toy mice and her feather on a stick :)
Marinara is an elegant and extremely affectionate lady who loves human contact, often following her foster human around waiting for them to settle so she can get comfy on top!
Like all Maggie's pets, Marinara is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would have plenty of humans who I can shower my affection on, or one nice human to soak up all my love! A couple of sun patches that I can follow across the room might be nice too.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I spend most of my day sleeping, but do also love a good session with with feather stick and running after a toy mouse, especially in the early evening.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My snuggly personality is likely to be a good match for family life! So far I’ve met a couple of young kids and liked playing feather toy with them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I have been meeting a resident cat in my current foster home and unfortunately I don't seem to be a fan of other cats - lots of hissing and chasing. It's probably best that I'm an only cat or that any potential adopter's are in for a long road of introductions that may not be successful.
I met one dog but it was under stressful circumstances and I thought I needed to protect my babies, so now I'm a bit worried about them. Any resident dogs would need to be introduced very slowly and carefully, and I'd need a safe place to retreat to if I felt scared.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
