Ava - 10 Week Old Kelpie X (On Hold)

Ava is a 10 week old Kelpie x who is already showing all of those typical kelpie traits. She is as smart and quick as a whip. She is extremely playful with both humans and other dogs and can often be seen in that typical Kelpie pose with her head lowered ready to spring a surprise playful attack on her siblings.

This extremely sweet girl has inherited a soft fluffy coat and a joyful spirit. She is vocal, intelligent and has an obvious sparkle in her eye. Ava sleeps happily all night in her crate and already goes outside to for the bathroom.

Her current past times include licking toes and playing with toys and sticks, however Ava is looking for a nourishment rich environment for her forever home, with plenty of room and a minimum of 1.8m fencing. This girl is intelligent so her new family will have a commitment to training and daily exercise.

Ava is an extremely cute puppy now but will grow into a medium working size dog and her new family must be able to include a dog of her size and breed requirements into their daily life.

Ava’s ideal new home will:
• Have an understanding of working breeds
• Have a larger sized yard with 1.8m fencing. This fencing requirement is specific to Ava as she is showing signs of running and jumping and needing this space.
• Be committed to ongoing training and enrichment
• Be looking for a full time long term family member

Ava is in foster care in Toukley, NSW. Her adoption fee is $700. As Ava is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old.
