About Penny - 8 Week Old Border Collie X -Adopted 8/1/23
Penny is an 8 week old Border Collie x. With her beautiful black & white colouring with unique facial features and temperament to die for, she will make the perfect furry best friend.
Penny is a cheeky and sweet girl who enjoys playing endlessly with her big and little foster siblings. She is happy to hang out in the yard all day while her carers are at work and happily sunbakes allllll day long with her dog friends. Penny is super smart and will be a fast learner. Penny has started her toilet training and will need continued training until she is older. She is happy to sleep in her crate overnight and will signal when she needs to go to the toilet.
She enjoys lots and lots of cuddles and will curl up under your arm forever if you let her. Penny is an absolute snuggle bug so will need endless amount of cuddles. She loves her toys so will need to have lots of these in her forever home.
Penny’s ideal forever family will have another dog she can learn off and play with, access to a kennel or undercover area for the times she is outside, be able to sleep inside every night either in her humans bed or in her own bed (whichever works best) and be given endless love and attention.
Penny needs a family who will give her the love and time she deserves to train and socialise her once she is old enough.
Please remember puppies are a 15 + year commitment and a forever family decision.
Penny is a typical pup and loves to lick, so children will need to be 10 + years old or dog savvy. She is super dog friendly and untested with cats.
She will require a medium - large sized yard to run around in as she grows with secure fencing, please no courtyards, or yard with gaps/wire fencing.
For more information on Penny, please contact her foster carer on their email chloe_connor1@hotmail.com
Penny’s adoption fee is $700 which will include her first two vaccinations, and her desexing when she is 6 months old.
Currently she only has 1 vaccination and will be ready for her second just after Christmas. Due to this, her new family will need to ensure she has no interaction with public areas or dogs external to the family home. Penny is up to date on her flea, tick and worming treatments.
Penny is only adoptable to Maitland and Newcastle regions as she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for her desexing. For this reason, please NO out of area applications.
