Looking for a special and understanding home for our beautiful big girl, Hallie 💜

When Hallie first arrived at SoCares she didn’t trust many people, in particular males. She was lethargic and refused food. With some medication and once she was feeling better she started to really warm up to people.

As time has gone on, she has let her walls down to people she knows well and now trusts.

Once you have Hallies trust she does nothing but shower you with affection. She loves rolling over on her stomach for a belly rub or jumping up for a cuddle.

Hallie travels well in the car and loves to have her head out of the window. She knows her basic commands and will sit and shake when asked, she can also catch treats mid air.

Hallie loves her toys! She loves playing with her plush toys and as soon as she is returned to her kennel she starts looking for one to play with, she has quite the collection!

Hallie does need a little bit of lead work when it comes to interacting with other dogs. When she sees another dog she can’t wait to say hello and will pull towards them. Most of the time once she just wants to sniffs them and say hello then she is happy to do her own thing and just be in their company other times she wants to play with them.

Type Of Home: We believe Hallie would be better suited in a one person home, preferably with a female. Hallie is a large dog and we do require her new owner to have big dog experience.

Other Pets: Hallie can be rehomed with another dog but we recommend the dog doesn’t have a dominate personality and they are used to large breed dogs.

Hallie showed keen interest in the facility cats, even though she didn’t show any signs of aggression towards them, staff believe she would chase a cat if given the opportunity and don’t recommend she be in a home with one right now.

Hallies adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.
