About Harvey
ADOPTION GUIDELINES
QUIET HOUSEHOLD - NO CHILDREN - STRUCTURED DAILY ROUTINE
Harvey has lived a very, very sheltered life confined indoors with one sedentary adult owner. Because of this lack of exposure to the world, Harvey is quite a timid little dog, but in the hands of a skilled, patient and kind owner this bright little dog will come alive.
It is clear from his long nails, soft pads and lack of muscle tone that he has rarely had much exercise so he will take a while to adjust and will need a slowly-slowly approach.
Harvey does love tennis balls and toys in general, so if you want to connect with this bright spark in-the-making, grab some toys and head to the backyard. Do this and you will see Harvey's eyes become bright and his jaw relax.
As he has had no exposure to little people and does not cope with being held against his will, we recommend Harvey finds a home where there are no children.
It does appear that Harvey is interested in other friendly dogs, so if you are looking for a second small breed dog, Harvey would love a good role model to help him learn about the world he has thus far not seen.
The adoption fee for HARVEY is $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew.
