Requirements:

- A home with a doggy friend that Kazalea can hang out and be left home alone with would suit best.
- An inclusive home environment with present people.
- Commitment to physical and mental stimulation.
- Kazalea is very well toilet trained, but would benefit from some leash training (doesn't pull but does like to test your agility skills by abruptly stopping in your way to check you're still there).
- Kazalea needs to be groomed every 6 weeks to maintain her lovely locks.

Meet Kazalea, a sweet, gentle, affectionate dog who redefines the meaning of a cuddly teddy bear. If there's a nook to pop her head on you, be assured she will find it.

Kazalea grew up on a farm with other dogs, chickens, ducks and sheep but has quickly adapted to inner city living, soaking up the luxuries of a night time couch cuddle and sleeping at the foot of your bed. Because she has been surrounded by animals both growing up and in foster care, she loves other dogs (and humans!) but beware, she's like velcro with whomever she takes to.

Nothing gets Kazalea's tail wagging like hearing you pick up her lead; getting out for her daily walk to frolick, sniff and explore the world is her favourite time of day.

She thrives on being included with your daily activities, but if you have to go off to work during the day, she would do best with a dog friend to hold down the fort with her. If there was a time when Kazalea had to be completely alone without a dog friend, this is a work in progress that would require consistent, patient and ongoing training to achieve. Kazalea just doesn't want to be left behind.

Kazalea is a little shy and timid when she first meets you but once you build her trust, she quickly becomes your best mate. Whilst she hasn't had any exposure to children in foster care, she has a patient temperament that would likely bode just fine with kids.

Kazalea is looking for a loving home with a fully secured fence!
