About Athena
Hi my name is Athena, and I'm more of a listener than a lap cat but I will not refuse a good head pat and a bit of cuddle. I will listen to you whenever you need a friend, and I promise won't tell anybody your secrets. I'm very timid at first and it will take some time for me to become confident around you but once I am, I'm the sweetest and loving girl you could ever ask for. As I can be a timid at first so I would be a better suit for a family with no young kids as I get scared easily. I have also not been around any other animals before so I'm not sure how I will react around them so I might be better as solo animal. You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:
Burwood: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
