Misty

Hi I’m Misty and it’s an absolute pleasure to introduce myself. I found myself alone in a regional pound before Belle Vie took me in. It’s unsure how I ended up there as I am just a sweetheart and the biggest snuggler - I love to sit next to you and snuggle myself in as close as I can get.

I get along really well with all the dogs I’ve been exposed to since being in care. I have not been tested with cats so it’s unsure how I would react around them.

I love going to the fenced off leash park and have gotten along perfectly with every dog I have come across. I loves to play with dogs at the park and would love a home with a doggy friend to play with.

I mostly spend my days inside at the moment as my foster mum is working from home. I love to lie around sleeping on my bed/mat/ floor. I love to go outside for a run around regularly too but prefer being inside.

I have been very gentle around everyone I have met so far. Sometimes I can get a bit excited and jump up but stops and sits as soon as I am asked.

I no longer fearful of strangers coming to the house, I’m getting much better and gaining confidence.

I love racing around the yard with a rope toy and throwing it around, shaking it. Zoomies are the absolute best. I love having the occasional treat and I’m learning to catch them in my mouth.

I know how to sit, stay, lie down. I am very responsive to ‘no’ and ‘off’. I’m very food orientated and so far easy to train. I am still working on walking on the lead better and need to work on my recall.

I sleep perfectly through night inside without an accident, I go outside in the yard on the grass. Zero accidents or issues.
