About Gracie
Beautiful Gracie is sweet, intelligent, playful, keen to learn and is growing up to be a lovely young lady.
When Gracie gets excited she is full of beans and zoomies, and she will jump on you at times. Gracie has been learning manners with her foster carer and is trying really hard not to jump but she really wants a cuddle and to say hello, and being a pup, she is still learning impulse control.
Once grown she will need long walks, runs and lots of things to entertain her. Right now she is still growing and needs limited exercise but lots of short training sessions, things to chew, puzzle toys and environmental enrichment.
She is a bit worried about strangers, (particularly men), and needs to meet respectful people who let her decide to make friends in her own time, she does look to her person for reassurance and to be told everything is ok. She needs her new humans to help her find her confidence and to protect her from scary/inappropriate people and dogs. She is improving rapidly and we are hopeful that she will come to see most humans and dogs as possible friends.
Gracie has been learning to go for walks on a lead with a harness. She loves her walks and will benefit from formal positive puppy school. Gracie has been getting used to new dogs and people, most of the time, she really wants to say hello and is so happy to be out and about exploring everything.
Working dog knowledge and plenty of energy would be helpful for her humans to have.
Gracie is a lovely girl, who with continued guidance and love from her humans will make a great friend.
