This is our newest arrival Leo.

His owner moved out of home and left him with family some time ago and now it looks like they may never be coming back for him 😔 And those who he was left with unfortunately can no longer care for him so he’s now on the lookout for his new forever home.

Leo is a 7 year old Bengal cross tabby which means he is super sweet but also loves to hunt. He would make a great companion for someone seeking a pet that can keep the vermin away but also loves to snuggle up and have a cuddle.

Leo has literally just arrived so he’s naturally a bit shy but I’m sure that within a couple days he will be full of confidence and ready for adoption.

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a big company, it is a one man operation. I run a very small cat rescue service from the safety of my own home. I have spent a small fortune making my apartment as cat friendly as possible in order to create a stimulating environment for our furry feline guests to enjoy while they are with us. We rely heavily on donations and the kindness of strangers and every cent made from adoptions fees goes straight back to the cats in the form of food, litter, toys and vet bills.
