About Beki
Hi I’m Queen Beki and I’m ready to find my permanent slave….I mean home, so listen up because I am very particular.
First things first, I am at least 11 years old, desexed, no teeth and, apparently, have a face only amother could love whatever that means. I don’t bark, I squeak. I am toilet trained and can use adoggy door.
I do not play, jump around, climb anything or even walk much although I do enjoy a very very leisurely stroll. I am not the affectionate type so won’t lick you but I can wag my tail which I do lots.
While I don’t like exuberant dogs who want to bounce around and play I do enjoy the company of a quiet older dog. I haven’t actually met a cat yet so not sure if one would be acceptable.
I do not like children.
I have 2 favourite pastimes, food and sleep. If you keep feeding me I will keep eating even without any teeth so Foster Mum only feeds me once a day.
During the day if they leave their bedroom door open I sneak in and will spend all day under their bed and only come out when I know it’s time for dinner.
But after dinner what I really really like to do to is to sit next to someone for cuddles.
You will have to earn this right as I will scoot off before you can pick me up and you will need to repeat this exercise several times, Foster mum calls it my game.
I guess what I’m really after is someone who just wants a lap dog so if this is you please send in your application and I will be in contact.
Medical notes
11 year old Beki is desexed, microchipped, up to date with C5 vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, heart worm and intestinal worm prevention.
Beki needed a dental and unfortunately needed all her teeth extracted. She is fully healed from this procedure and it doesn’t affect her ability to eat at all.
Beki is beginning to show signs of mild arthritis which is normal for her age, so we would recommend starting her on a joint support supplement and/or arthritis injections.
