About Polly
Polly is an 8 month old mixed breed pup, probably has some Kelpie in there. Polly will not grow much bigger than she is, currently at 13kg. Polly was saved from deathrow in the pound just hours before her euthanasia was scheduled.
Miss Polly is an energetic, fun loving goof ball who’s eager to please her foster humans. She’s extremely sweet and loving and just loves sitting with her foster mum and getting lots of pats and love. She’s a fast learner and already knows how to sit and stay. She’s currently in foster care with 4 other dogs and 2 cats and gets along with them well. Polly would be best suited to a home with a family who has time on their hands to spend with her to help her reach her full potential and a young doggy sibling for her to bond with would be a bonus but not essential if in the right home. Polly is a darling girl that just needed some love & guidance. Polly’s confidence is growing everyday in her foster home & with more time, patience & love Polly will reach her full potential as the amazing girl she is.
She’s good with other dogs but still learning she doesn’t need to resource guard her food anymore.
Polly didn’t seem to know what a cat was when she first entered her foster home but now she’s good, doesn’t really pay them much attention and she’s nice to them when she does.
If you think Polly would be a good fit for your family Polly would love to hear from you 🥰
