About Henry
Hi, I’m Henry, a 12 month old male Kelpie. I have a big personality and a sensitive side to match.
I am highly intelligent and enjoy exploring the outside world. I am working on my crate training, sleep all through the night, and am toilet trained. I am learning my basic commands and show potential for more advanced obedience training. I have good dinner manners, although prefer working for my food to keep my mind busy.
I would really like a big backyard where I can complete the full zoomies, explore the plants and watch the birds. I can jump when I am excited, although I am very gentle on my feet and therefore would be better suited to a family with older or no kids. Toys are also new to me, so I play on my own, and am still learning the difference between socks and toys. My foster mum says I give the best big cuddles.
I am untested with cats and kids. I have played with other dogs and could either be an only dog or could benefit from having an older confident pal who can show me how to do doggy things like play and chase balls.
I sit quietly outside when my humans are not home but prefer being around people and would love my people to be home more often than not. My new owners will need to be experienced with working breeds and understand my mental and physical needs. Once my needs have been met, I have a great off switch and enjoy resting inside with my family.
I am a happy, young man who just adores humans, so if you love dogs, I am the boy for you.
Lots of licks,
Henry

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
