About Boo
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Boo and her sister Sage are being fostered by a professional animal trainer, and as a result have already learned to come when called, sit on scales to be weighed and go into their carry box when asked, and have also begun harness training!
These gorgeous girls have been living with a chihuahua and Labrador, as well as a bearded dragon, and have met children too. Enjoying a wonderfully interesting life thus far, they've been taken to a variety of different environments to help build up their resilience (including a film set!), and as they live under a flight path there aren't many noises that faze them :)
Boo loves to explore alongside her sister, and counts climbing and batting leaves around among her favourite games. They both enjoy a mix of playing with each other and seeking out dog or human company to relax with. When tired enough they'll happily sit with you and accept some head scratches :) A big burst of purring always lets you know when you've hit the sweet spot!
Out of the two, Boo is the more placid - she'll let you pick her up and flip her on her back for cuddles. Boo will take her sister Sage's lead and go where she goes :) When tired enough, Boo enjoys napping on the sofa with you.
Like all Maggie's pets, Boo is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with another cat or a friendly dog to hang out with. I'd be delighted to find my forever home with my sister Sage, as she gives me lots of confidence, but that's not essential. If I'm the only pet in my new home, I'd thrive in an environment where someone can spend lots of time playing and just spending time with me.
With my sister by my side, I think I'd adapt easily to a busy family home, but I'd need any children in the family to treat me gently as I'm just a baby - I'm still building up my confidence and finding my way in the world. Without Sage, I'd definitely be happiest in a quieter, calmer sort of home.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I'm either zooming around the house madly, or dead to the world in a nice cosy spot.
At night I'm used to sleeping in a playpen with my sister, and always sleep through the night with no disturbances.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: If I get adopted with my sister Sage (she gives me courage!), then I think I'd be happy to live with children, providing they don't chase me and leave me alone when I move away from them. I've happily let kids pat me, and enjoyed it when they sat quietly and dangled some string for me to swat at.
If going to a home as the only pet, older children will be the best match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Excellent, I reckon! I adore the company of my foster dog siblings and my sister :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
