About Vixen and Kane
A message from Vixen and Kane
We’re Vixen and Kane: an inseparable brother/sister duo who have spent our whole lives together. Unfortunately, our family of five years is no longer able to look after us. While we are very sad to leave our family, we know we can make another family very happy! Could you help us find our forever family so we can spend our senior years in a loving home?
We love each other so much, so we’re happy to be home without our humans during the day. As long as we get lots of love and attention when our humans are back!
We might be senior, but we still love our daily 30-60 minute walk. How about the rest of the time you ask? Okay, okay—we’re otherwise just couch potatoes that love to snuggle. But aren’t all greyhounds the same?
While we would love a big backyard, we are well-accustomed to indoor living and that’s where we like to spend the majority of our time—nestled up and snoozing! As long as our new humans let us get out our zoomies, we’ll be a very happy pair.
Even though we are a friendly pair, we would rather be your only children! We’re sure small humans and other dogs are lovely, but we’d rather be the centre of all of your attention.
About Vixen
While Vixen can appear shy at first, she has a big personality that blossoms with familiarity. She loves playing with her humans and wins people over with her confident and cheeky demeanour. She’s also a bit of a foodie!
She absolutely loves zoomies and having a run, so regular trips to a designated off-lead greyhound area are a must! (Please keep in mind local laws and regulations regarding having greyhounds off-lead).

About Kane
Kane is a quiet, goofy boy who absolutely loves being pampered. If you’re home, he’ll often come to see what you’re doing and try to steal some snuggles from you in the process.
He is prone to anxiety when around other dogs (as well as during those pesky thunderstorms), so prefers quiet time in the familiar company of his sister.
