About Mia
Introducing the chonky monkey Mia. She is a Staffy x born 29th March 2021.
Mia is a beautiful young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She's quite a gentle girl and very calm so we believe she would be quite good with children. She can be a little shy though, so preferably a home with calmer children would be best for her while she settles in.
Mia has tested well with dogs of all sizes at the facility and at her sleep-over with Dee & Don. If you have another calm dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with her to ensure they get along before going home.
Mia was completely unfazed by cats & pocket pets, even when she was slapped several times across the face by a cat. If you have cats or pocket pets at home we recommend a slow & controlled introduction to ensure a happy relationship.
Mia has shown no signs of separation anxiety at the facility.
Mia is such a loving girl and wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Mia, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Mia’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Mia is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Mia is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
