Bumper’s mission is to treat every day with pure possibility, and is looking for his perfect partner-in-crime (of the good kind!). He’s a goofy, playful and loyal boy who is eager to please, and just loves to be loved.

Bumper is quite obedient and is a quick learner. He’s quick to please, loves his treats and responds well to training. Can you teach him some new tricks? He knows how to sit, drop, shake, stay, wait for food and is progressing with recall.

Bumper loves a good cuddle and lazing around in the sun. If you need some inspiration on how to relax, Bumper is your muse! He thinks that toys are Heavens gift to earth, and is often seen prancing around with one in his mouth. Often entertaining himself, you’ll see him strut around, flinging around a toy, but also loves when his humans get involved for a game of tug-o-war! As much as he loves being with his humans, he also does well on his own; he’s shown no signs of anxiety or destructive behaviour when alone.

Bumper walks fairly well on lead and is responsive with a calm and assertive handler. He’s looking for someone who will continue his training to remain calm on walks, especially when passing other dogs. With ongoing training, he's showing promising signs of being a fantastic walking buddy, and the best boy he can be. He can be a strong boy, so will need a confident handler.

Bumper is a big, bouncy boy and is best suited to a home with bigger kids or adults to be his new pals. He loves a good round of wrestle with his dog pal in foster care. He plays rough, so if his new family has a dog, they will need to be big and playful for a potential match.
