Donald is the happiest, most loving boy you will ever meet. At approximately 2 years young, he’s still full of beans, and is looking for someone with an active lifestyle. At the end of the day, he loves snuggling up and giving you great big kisses. Donald is great on the lead, and will pause every so often to check in and give you a big smile and a kiss on the hand. He loves other dogs, especially playing hard with his foster brother. He will happily do this during the day while the humans are at work, but once you’re home he wants to be part of your life - he doesn’t like to think he’s missing out on anything. If he can spend his days with you, he would be happy as an only dog. His manners around other dogs have improved whilst in care, and he will benefit from ongoing interaction with other dogs, now that his hormones are coming under control. He has shown no signs of food aggression or resource guarding, and trusts his people to comfort him when he’s worried.

He’s a quick learner, who has learnt to sit while being in care, and he has a good understanding of his household routine. He’s looking for someone who can help him with ongoing training.

Teenagers, or upper primary dog-savvy kids will be adored by Donald - sometimes he forgets he’s not a tiny puppy anymore. Not tested with young children.

Donald has lived in care with an elusive cat, and doesn’t seem particularly bothered by her when he does get to see her.
