Maggie is an approx 8 year old Border Collie x Kelpie. Sadly her owner passed away unexpectedly and she was surrendered to Pawfect Pals to find a new forever home.

Maggie is the ultimate companion dog and we would love to see her go to a family with another dog or a human at home more often than not. She loves snuggling on her bed inside or basking in the sun. She is over the crazy life and is looking for someone who will take her for a calm walk and be her guide as she navigates some new environments. She has taken every new adventure in her stride and looks to her human for reassurance. She’s not a ‘dog-park’ kind of dog and although is super friendly with other dogs, she prefers watching from a distance.

Maggie has lived with other dogs before and would be fine in a multiple dog house as long as there are proper introductions.

Maggie is a really happy and healthy dog, she’s house trained and great with young kids. She will respect boundaries when told and is learning her basic commands but will need some further training to help her settle in to her new home. She will happily jump into the car and is great out and about, happily sitting by your feet at a cafe.

Unfortunately she is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets.

Maggie is ready to find her forever home and we reckon whoever ends up with her is an extremely lucky family!
