ABOUT NARVI

Hi my name is Narvi. I might be a little shy when you first meet me but I will warm up to you quickly. I would love to curl up on your knee or chest when you watch tv and will purr loudly when you give me cuddles. I like to follow my foster mum around the house, so please be careful where you step. I also like to curl up by her feet when she is working in the kitchen. When you go out I will happily greet you at the door when you arrive home, ready for some hugs. I am very playful and sometimes get a bit too excited and may get rough so please use toys to play with me and not your hands. I also like climbing, wrestling, and playing chasey with my siblings, so if you have other pets that's ok.

BEHAVIORAL NOTES:

Can get a bit rough when playing and will use his mouth. Although he doesn't mean to hurt you, he's only young and still learning how to play gently with humans. Please use toys when playing with him, to help him learn that hands are for petting and not playing.

MEDICAL NOTES:

Although my ears are very cute; this is a genetic mutation that affects the development of cartilage in my body.
This is known as osteochondrodysplasia - a general term for a disorder of the development of bone and cartilage. These bone and cartilage abnormalities lead to severe and painful arthritis. All Scottish Fold cats suffer from variable degrees of painful degenerative joint disease.

It is highly recommended to research my breed and what the future holds for me due to these genetic traits before adoption. I am more than just a cute little kitten and have a whole life ahead of me, it is important that my new family understands my needs and how best to care for me.
