About Miette
Miette is a petite 2-years-old border collie x girl with a split personality.
With her trusted humans, this sweet ball of adorable floofiness is a soft angel who just loves to snuggle up to you and gaze into your eyes with love. You do have to gain her trust first, though, as she is very timid and unsure when meeting new people and in new situations.
Bring on another dog, however, and she becomes a rough-and-tumble wrestling tomboy, straight out of MMA. If you like your dogs clean, this is not the dog for you! She is constantly covered in dirt from all the racing and rolling around with the other dogs.
Miette gains a lot of her confidence from her foster siblings. Having another confident and playful dog in her new home will be essential. But, as she has resource guarding tendencies, she will need a doggy friend who won’t mind her always stealing the toys and who doesn’t feel the need to protect their belongings.
Miette is very easy to manage on lead, travels well in the car, sleeps all night in her crate without a peep, and is toilet trained.
She is looking for active humans who are experienced with her breeds, will allow her inside as part of the family, give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation and include her in all their adventures. Her new family must be committed to working with her to help her gain confidence and come out of her shell.
Miette is located in the ACT...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
