About Buddy
Buddy came into our care in February when his human passed away at 96. We were hoping to be his forever home but unfortunately our resident old boy had other plans.
Buddy is a gentle giant. He eats, sleeps, plays like a kitten when you are not watching and is generally very happy to be where ever you may be in the home.
Buddy gets along with all the animals that come and go in our care and has been super sweet when it comes to the kittens. Often the older cats that come through our doors take a real shine to Buddy. It is just very unfortunate our old boy has an issue with him. For the past 10 months we have tried everything and it has become a war zone, which is not safe for anyone and nor is it fair for Buddy! Poor Buddy sneaks about the house trying to avoid the old boy at all costs.
Buddy deserves a home where he can live in peace and enjoy life without the fear of the old boy pouncing and attacking!
Buddy is suited to a house with other pets as he plays well with others, but he would also be quite happy on his own.
Buddy loves to sleep on the bed, on your feet, so you need to make sure you are comfortable before the big boy snuggles down for the night! He is not keen on being brushed and gets clipped once a year. He is also down for a good chatter and will often tell you all about his day. Did someone touch the biscuits?? Buddy will come running as soon as he hears the biscuits being moved.
If you think you could provide Buddy with a forever home free of the constant battles, then please send through a little bit about yourself, home life and why Buddy would love living with you. Email us at morningtonmoggierescue@gmail.com
