About Chrissy
MEET CHRISSY!
Chrissy is approximately 11 years young, she is a gorgeous long haired black and white girl thats desexed, microchipped, up to date with her vaccines and ready for her retirement home.
Sadly Chrissy and her younger feline sister Heidi are now looking for a new home either together or separately (they aren't necessarily bonded but do get along well).
Chrissy is in excellent health for her age, she has just had a recent vet health check. This is what Chrissy's owner has to say about her -
This is Chrissy, she is 11 years old.
And when she was taken to the vet last she was in excellent health.
Like most older cats she enjoys sleeping and spends most of her time just napping, she loves lounging in the sunshine in front of the windows especially in the warm weather.
With her long fur she does require brushing however she isn't the biggest fan of it, so small amount at a time! She’s quite vocal and likes affection on her terms only as an independent older gal, she appreciates having her own space. Once she knows you she adores a good belly rub!
Chrissy would really love a quiet retirement home to spend the rest of her years relaxing and sleeping. She currently lives with her sister Heidi who she has spent the last 7 years with, she may be happy to live with another passive friendly cat friend if she is not rehomed with Heidi.
Medical notes
Chrissy is a senior and as such she requires a premium quality senior diet to keep her in excellent health.
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
