About Eliot
Eliot is ready to find his person. Someone patient and kind, who's doesn't mind his intial timid nature. Someone who is ready to build Eliot's trust in order to reveal his true self- A purr and drool machine!
Eliot came to us as a malnourished, shut down kitten, saved by a kind person from the dangers of the streets and brought to SCAR for a shot at the good life.
Eliot has needed one on one confidence building in foster with our Pathways Coordinator Beth. Roast Chicken, soft words and a quiet environment is what Eliot needs to feel safe.
He will need some time to bond with his new human as he has become quite attached to his foster carer and loves to play bite, smooch, roll all over her when she gets home. He's extremely food motivated so using treats will help his new people build a positive relationship.
Eliot is not suited to young children due to his background and skittish nature.
Once he is comfortable Eliot loves to play, chirp and be picked up to recieve cuddles. He is extremely cuddly.
Eliot would adore a friendly, playful cat that he could rough and tumble with. Unfortuneatly the cat and dog he is living with does not appreciate his little trills and playful swats to engage in play. He keeps trying, but Eliot would really love a feline friend to spend his days with.
LOCATION: FOSTER CARE **Application Process** If you are interested in this pet and ready to adopt now, please send in an application to the SCAR Adoption Team. On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. The information you provide helps us to start a conversation with potential adopters, and find a great match for pets in our care. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you! www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ... because they all deserve one
