Albus Dumbledore

Albus is a very sweet boy and he's looking for his new home today!

A male tortoiseshell is like finding a shiny version of a Pokemon- super rare, as usually due to genetics only females have this coat pattern.

Albus has spent time in a foster home where he was a little shy coming out of his shell (get it). He would do well in a quiet home where he can be gradually introduced to the rest of the house, while being provided with a room to act as his safe space.

In his foster home there was a toddler and this may be why Albus took so long to come out and would mostly show himself at night when the house was quiet. He would prefer a home with teenagers and adults.

Once he is comfortable, Albus like to explore his home, play, sleep with his humans on the bed and receive lots of pats and head scratches.

Albus may like to live with another sociable friendly cat as long as gradual introductions are done properly and in a positive manner.

As an older gentleman, Albus is looking for someone to spend his days with, a home where he can flourish and enjoy the rest of his days. He really isn't high maintenance at all.

You can meet cats and kittens housed on site at SCAR between 9am-4pm Tuesday-Friday. We can only facilitate greets on a weekend with an appointment, so please call during the week or send in an application via Pet Rescue if you would like to come in on a Saturday.
