About Kramer
Kramer is a 4 month old black and tan male kelpie cross. He is a happy, calm, gentle but slightly goofy young pup who loves playing with his foster brothers.
A home with another friendly dog is a must as Kramer is more confident when he is with other dogs. He has excellent doggy manners and takes cues from the other dogs when it is time to back off. While quick to learn new things, Kramer does not appear to be a high energy dog. He will happily follow his foster mum or the other dogs around the garden or doing chores. When the older dogs sleep, so does he.
Kramer is respectful of cats, chickens and wildlife. He has learnt to sit and has lovely meal time manners. He walks well on lead, although he prefers a leisurely pace. Kramer is crate trained and sleeps all night in his crate without a peep. He is doing well with his house training too and he very quickly learnt to use the doggy door to come and go as he pleases. He has been a very easy pup to have in the house.
When Kramer came into care he was very timid around people. In his short time in care he has grown in confidence although he will need his new family (including children) to be patient with him and continue to build his confidence. As Kramer is a working dog breed his new family will need to provide daily mental and physical stimulation to help him grow into a beautiful companion dog.
If Kramer sounds like the boy for you, please send in an application today!
Kramer is located in NSW.
Medical notes
Kramer has an underbite which does not affect him. He eats and drinks fine and has been checked by the vet who advised it’s not an issue but to monitor when his adult canines grow through.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
