Barley

You can't help but laugh when interacting with Barley. This cheeky girl is full of personality and will snatch food quickly from your hands to gobble it down in front of you. Barley is one of the most intelligent bunnies we have seen at the shelter. Training is super easy as she is highly food motivated, she can stand up on her back legs, touch your hand with her little white nose, walk onto the scales for her weekly weighing and is totally litter box trained.

Barley is not fussy when it comes to her diet, she often tricks staff as she eats her whole serving of veggies while your back is turned, making you question if she had been fed already 🤔.

Barley isn't what you'd call an affectionate bunny, as she certainly has a superior attitude looking down upon her people as if we serve her (I guess we kind of do in a way 😂).

If you're after a rabbit who is closer to a vegetarian, sassy cat than a snuggly bunny, definitely arrange a meet with Barley.
