Jacka

Introducing JACKA, one of four Stumpy-Tail Cattle Dog mix puppies from The Aussie Hero Litter, born on 14 September 2022.

Jacka is named after Albert Jacka, who was awarded a Victoria Cross for his heroism at Gallipoli.

We can only speculate about Jacka's breed mix. As at 9 November, he weighed 6 kgs so he's on track to be a medium-sized dog at maturity. His very short, tan coat and dark muzzle suggests he may have a dollop of Australian Ridgeback in his DNA.

Jacka's an outgoing pup, full of life, fun and a little bit of mischief. He appears to be the Alpha of the litter. He lives in a private foster home with his littermates and three adult dogs.

Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Jacka to play with. Previous Cattle Dog experience will be well regarded.

Unless very well supervised, we don't recommend puppies for families with very small children as puppies can jump and chew and generally frighten a little person.

As always, secure fencing is essential.

His adoption fee is $750. He's is vaccinated and microchipped. He's also flea and worm-treated. His adoption fee includes desexing when age appropriate.
