About Lola
Lola is an ex breeding cat who came into our care recently and has shown herself to be an absolute sweetheart already!
She has settled in really well at her foster home and came out of her shell very quickly. Now that Lola has had her health check ups and been desexed, we would like to find her a home where she can relax and enjoy the rest of her life as a pampered pet. She enjoys sitting in the window to watch the world outside or cuddling up with you or a blanket on the couch and she has been very curious about toys and even normal household things.
She tolerates bath time though wasn't super impressed by it, and like most cats if she gets overstimulated (for example too many pats or touching her somewhere she doesn't want) she can hiss - but she has never actually lashed out.
With a proper slow introduction she could live with a kitty friend or even learn to tolerate a calm dog – it would just require a bit of patience and adjustment. She has been exposed to both other cats and dogs and she was cautious but curious.
We are hoping to find her a home with previous sphynx experience, knowledge of the breed and their needs is a must.
Lola requires an indoor only home, though access to an outdoor cat enclosure would also be great as long as there are some nice shady spots to hide from the sun!
We ask a standard adoption fee of $1500 for our cats (unless otherwise specified). This helps us to recoup some costs and allows us to continue to rescue and rehabilitate sphynx cats in need!
Whilst we would love to find her a home locally, she is fit and there is no reason she can't travel so interstate applications are welcome (transport st your own expense).
Medical notes
Lola is currently eating well and using her litter with no issues. She is fully vaccinated and up to date on flea & worm treatments.
She was desexed in our care and has recovered well from surgery. Blood tests and a heart ultrasound were performed before her surgery and showed no abnormalities.
