About Hades
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Hades is a handsome 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier looking for his forever home. He loves people and is full of energy, so he would make the perfect companion for a family who loves to go out and explore on bush walks or hikes. Hades loves to play with toys, so his new family will need to provide plenty of them in order to keep him entertained. He also needs a secure backyard with tall fencing as he has been known to try and escape when he’s bored.
Hades has met other dogs at the shelter and enjoys their company, but he will need some help learning manners and basic socialization skills before meeting other pooches outside of the facility. He would do best in a home with children over 10 years old as he gets very excited during playtime. If his new family works part-time, they should be sure to have enough time before or after work to take him on daily walks or runs. With the right training, Hades will be an obedient companion in no time! Will you give this fun-loving pup a chance?

Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
