Hi, I’m Autumn!
I’m a lovely, young Rottweiler cross who is looking for a family who has owned similar breeds in the past. Though I’m quite easy-going, I still have traits that are typical to a sensitive Rotti.
I would love a home that is usually calm, but also active and outdoorsy. When I’m over-excited I zoom around and make yipping noises which apparently is very funny and cute.
I usually have a gentle nature and am great at listening, so I would be open to meet children of any age.
I have met a few dogs at the facility and I am most comfortable around ones that are not too much bigger than me and aren’t too eager. If you have a well-socialised and respectful dog at home, bring them in to meet me.
My carers say I’m very easy to train as I’m always very engaged and interested in treats. I even walk nicely on a lead! When I am walked in a new environment, my owner should have treats on them to help build our relationship in a positive way.
I’m starting to learn about playing with toys and would love a backyard to run around in. Fencing should be secure and 6ft to ensure my safety when no one is home.
At the shelter, I am typically okay with being in my kennel, so my carers think I’ll be alright if my new owners work full-time. I would just need attention and exercise during the hours they’re home so I don’t get bored.
I’m very affectionate and will lean against you for a pat. If you’d like to cuddle me forever, send through an expression of interest below!

Following a successful meet and greet with the animal, we can finalise the adoption paperwork and payment. Dogs and cats are booked into Council's contracted vet for the animal to be desexed typically the next business day. We will transport your new pet to our vet for desexing in the morning. The new owner is to collect the animal from the vets in the afternoon.
