Meet Harry, a charming Domestic Shorthair (DSH) currently residing in Nambour and eagerly seeking his forever family. Born on October 28, 2021, Harry is a stunning and gentle boy with a shy demeanor that hides a playful spirit. He may need some time to adjust, but once he does, he’ll find his way into your heart—often by quietly sneaking into your room at night to snuggle up on your bed.
Harry is adaptable and friendly with other cats, having enjoyed their company and playful antics. He’s also lived harmoniously with a small dog and is comfortable around older, respectful children. His peaceful nature makes him a great fit for a variety of households, especially those that can offer a quiet and patient environment.
Harry’s love for human interaction becomes apparent through his affection for treats. He’ll eagerly respond to the sound of a treat bag, showing his endearing, food-motivated side. He’s microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, worming, and flea treatments, and ready to transition to his new home.
A perfect match for Harry would be a calm, loving home where he can gradually build his confidence. All our cats and kittens, including Harry, are adopted as indoor-only pets to ensure their safety and well-being.
If you’re ready to provide a loving home for this gentle soul, please contact us at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or message the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc. Facebook page. Harry’s sweet nature and potential for deep affection are truly worth the wait.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
