Jet

Please say hello to JET, our first ever Chihuahua x Kelpie.

Two-year-old Jet resembles a very finely built black and tan Kelpie with short legs and a distinct Chi look around his dear little face. He has large soulful eyes that pull at your heart strings. We estimate he weighs no more than 10 kgs.

A tad timid and bewildered after a lengthy stay in the pound, Jet is an affectionate youngster who enjoys human company. To minimise disruption in his short life, we're hoping to find the right home for him before he gets too settled and comfortable in his new foster home.

Based on our knowledge of the two breeds, we're expecting Jet to be a courageous, loving and protective little bloke, with a strong sense of loyalty to his family. Both breeds are affectionate with their loved ones and enjoy spending lots of time with them. Don’t plan on leaving Jet alone for long periods as we're guessing he won’t do well. He will want to be with his pack.

Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Jet to play with. Previous experience with Kelpies and/or Chihuahua will be well regarded.

Jet is untested with little children and cats.

His adoption fee is $1,250. He is vaccinated and microchipped.
