Tyson has been soaking up retirement life with his foster carers and is ready to find his home! Tyson doesn’t have a whole lot of energy and is quite happy with his shorter walks and then sleeping the day away inside and keeping an eye on his foster family. He doesn’t seem too interested in many zooms or toy play in their backyard so could be matched to a smaller yard home.

He settles well into a quiet home with a regular routine and appreciates his foster family around him more often than not. He settles quite well being left alone for around 3-4 hours and then is quite happy to have his family return after this amount of time! He likes to be included in things but also really appreciates his own time and space – he is quite happy resting on his bed and watching the daily activities of his foster family. He can get a little overwhelmed if his space is crowded and is best suited to a home without small children.

Tyson may be matched to his retirement home, however, greyhounds can be at different stages in their development as they transition to pet life. The greyhound that is perfect for your family might take some time, complete an application form we will work hard to find the right GAP greyhound for you.
