Shelly came into foster care with her 4 kittens and was a wonderful mother who gave all her love to her babies.
Shelly has come a long way since she arrived into care, when she was easily spooked. Now her carer can pick her up, she will sit in your lap, and she enjoys pats and cuddles on your bed once she trusts you, showing that she has love and affection to give once the trust is there. Shelly had moments in the past when she has used her teeth or pounced at people's feet when she has been scared but we firmly believe that in a loving, gentle home where she will lose her fear Shelly will be fine. A loving home where she's allowed her independence and to be given space to do her own thing when she needs to. She may suit living on a property or acreage where she could be close to people but be able to interact at her pace.
If given this opportunity and a home to love her for who she is, we believe Shelly would thrive and have a happy and fulfilling life, which is what she deserves. Please contact us if you feel you have the home for this beautiful girl and can give Shelly her second chance. Her adoption fee is $50.
Please note that even as a barn cat, Shelly would imitially need to be contained indoors for a period to get her bearings in her new location; and also her owner will need to observe any council regulations.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation.

Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
