About Zema
Zema is a real gem! She is a precious girl with a heart of absolute gold. She adores her people and wags her tail constantly.
This social butterfly loves the company of other dogs. She loves making new doggy friends on walks and would love to share her new home with a canine pal. Zema also gets along well with a cat in her current home. So households with a confident cat may also be a great option for this darling girl!
This genuine sweetheart is excellent with children. She gets down low and crawls on her belly to be as small and 'un-scary' as possible. What a complete angel!
Zema is a great reader of people's body language and will alter her behaviour to suit her company. If she picks up that you're a confident dog friend, she'll jump up and be all over you. If she senses you'd prefer your clothes fur-free, she'll go slow and win you over with her wriggly body movements and sneaky kisses.
Zema likes to give the illusion of being a guard dog and will bark at loud noises or anyone that comes to your front door. She will need secure fencing to keep her safe and sound. Don't expect a guard dog though, because as soon as Zema gets close to an 'intruder', she will lick them to death! Zema can sometimes be scared of loud noises but strangely doesn't mind thunderstorms or fireworks. In fact, she'll sit outside and watch them!
Zema would be glad to come along if you like going on adventures. She enjoys car rides and likes exploring new places. She loves trips to the beach but can be a little scared of water - awwww!
Zema likes playing fetch….but thinks her humans clearly don't understand the rules. She watches you throw the ball, and then she'll run over to it to show you what to do. When you don't follow her, she'll kindly come back and walk with you to retrieve the ball. She has endless patience and hopes that one day her humans will catch on and become fetch superstars!
If daily walks are more your style, Zema loves to get out and stretch her legs. She walks well on a leash and is well-mannered meeting other people and pets. Zema is definitely the 'stop-and-smell-the-flowers' type; she stops to sniff every flower she finds, and she'll even take the time to enjoy the aromas of different grasses and clovers. So if you're looking for a walking pal that will help you take a moment to breathe and enjoy life's simple beauty, Zema will be glad to be your guide!
Zema has good basic obedience and will sit and wait for her food. She'll make eye contact and even shake hands before she starts her meal. She is also gentle when taking hand-fed treats!
Zema loves to be your shadow and have plenty of cuddles, but she isn't opposed to catching up on a bit of sleep away while you're away from home for a short while. She would love owners who are home more often than not. She would also need to be invited inside for cuddles and quality family time. So if you have a staffy-sized space in your heart and on your couch, then Zema is sure to win your heart!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
