About Freya (On Trial)
Meet Freya! She is an adorable, happy, sweet and playful girl who has a lovely and soft nature.
Freya is very affectionate and loves to be stroked and scratched around the head and ears and will happily sit and have loving cuddles, especially in the evening after a busy day.
Freya is a healthy, friendly and gentle dog who gets along well with people and other dogs around her size. Freya would make a perfect companion for a young family, as she loves playing with children. Although Freya can be jumpy at first, she usually settles quickly and, she will respond well to training, as she is food and treat motivated.
Freya is fully house trained and would easily learn how to use a doggy door. She is very smart and a quick learner who has learned to heel to walk, sit, lie down, wait and come when called. She loves nothing better than to follow her people around, always ready by your side for any fun or adventures. She has lots of energy so loves to play with other dogs or go for long walks. Freya currently lives with another dog and loves playing with her. She has grown up around children and loves them to throw a ball for her or take her for walks. Unfortunately, Freya frightens the family cat and likes to chase after him as well as chickens who she barks at through the fence. Being young and excitable, Freya is easily distracted but eager to please and sometimes forgets her manners especially the family comes home. However, Freya is consistently improving and becoming better trained each day.
With her smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Freya is very low maintenance. Freya would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home. Being very responsive and eager to learn,
Freya has a lovely nature and is growing into a well-behaved and mature girl.
If you feel you can provide this gorgeous girl with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com
Freya is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped and lifetime registered. Her adoption fee is $300.
