About Bata
Cuddly, independent, cat social, sunbaking pup.
Prior to coming into care this litter had no human touch, no exposure, no training – to me this is a perfect clean slate to build up a dog and develop a true relationship. We took in 7 German Shepherd pups that were raised in the backyard with no direct human contact. They were not mistreated, their shyness is from the unknown.
He currently lives with 4 other dogs, cat and birds. He shows no interest in other animals and definitely prefers the calm dogs then the puppies or energetic kelpies. His fav mate is another German shepherd. He does struggle to read other dogs cues when they just want to play, he gets a bit worried. When its not play time he is super relaxed and happy to do his own thing and lap up the sun.
Bata will need great human and dog role models in the right environment to ensure he becomes a balanced dog. He is house trained and loving the basics of training. He can sit, drop walk well on leash and is crate trained. He is a happy active boy that loves his walks. He loves the company of his family and is super affectionate. He loves his kongs and enrichment games that he can chew. He loves a good brush but will avoid the bath.
Bata is comfortable to go on walks but not excited to meet new people. He still need development. Someone who is willing and has the time to put into him. Someone who has the skills or will work closely with a recommended trainer to ensure his development is positive.
He will try to avoid, and is shy of new people. This is not anxiety. He is a very stable minded dog. He is just unsure of new people and takes time to warm up. This is the fear we need his new family to continue to work on.
We are looking for an experienced or dedicated family that want to develop a pup to his full potential. This process takes time and consistency for them to grow into calm, stable adults. The most rewarding journey to be a part of an important trust and bonding time between dog and family. This home should have another stable dog, and most importantly adults that will show leadership to clear guidance to a pup that will need it. We are not looking for unit, busy city homes.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
