- someone who is not working fulltime as Cornish is a puppy that needs a family who has the time to settle him into his new home and train him.
Meet the cheeky and gorgeous little man Cornish. If you are looking for a play and cuddle companion, Cornish is your man. He loves to cuddle up to you on the couch or bed, but also loves to play like every typical puppy. Cornish loves every human and wants to say hi to everyone he meets. He is currently living with children aged 10+ but we think he would also be fine with younger children. In fact he loves to hang around the 10 year old in the house.
Cornish is also living with another dog and a cat. He loves both of them and plays a lot with his 8 year old doggy foster sister. He usually just ignores the cat, but occasionally loves to chase her down the hall (just playfully). Cornish started to go on walks since he is fully vaccinated. When he sees other dogs in the neighbourhood he can get excited and bark at them. He does love to sniff and explore the neighbourhood and would love someone that takes him on daily walks to burn some of his puppy energy.
If you have a "no pet on furniture" rule, then Cornish is definitely not your guy. He is the typical lapdog, as he just looooves to cuddle with you.
He is pretty much house trained and will wait at the door to be let out (as long as you don't ignore him sitting there for too long).
Cornish loves to chase the birds away in the backyard and alert you when someone is at the door. He doesn't enjoy car rides too much at this stage, short trips are ok, but he can get carsick on longer trips.
His foster family will miss him immensely, when they have to say goodbye to him as it has been a privilege to foster this awesome chap, but it is now time for him to find his forever home.
