Tosca

At just 9 months of age, Tosca has already achieved the status of Lap Cat Extraordinaire. She will come around where you are sitting, find the best nook, ask for or give you a kiss, make biscuits for a while and then she will fall asleep for hours if you let her. Thankfully, she’s only 3.4KG so you don’t risk having your internal organs or limbs crushed under her weight.

Being young, Tosca is curious about anything new and everything that happens around her and sometimes she goes into meerkat mode (yes, standing on her hind legs and fixed eyes) if there are unexpected sounds or movements that might require investigation. She loves sniffing and check out every corner, but she learns and understands boundaries pretty quickly if she’s not allowed to go somewhere specific. At least as long as you’re around; when she’s home alone, Tosca’s cheeky and playful side takes over and she might jump on shelves and play with objects she’s not supposed to touch as she thinks everything is a toy. But you could never be mad at her! No sir! Tosca is one of the sweetest cats around and whenever she looks up at you with those adoring eyes of hers, it’s pretty much impossible to hold back a smile and to stop your heart from melting.

Tosca has had a brief encounter with a toy cavoodle about the same size as her, but she didn’t like it: she puffed up and started growling, scaring the poor dog so probably it would be better if Tosca was an only pet or she might be fine with another calm cat, given the proper introduction. She hasn’t been tested with kids, but she has such an affectionate nature that she would likely be fine with children 6+ years who understand how to handle a cat properly and respectfully.

Tosca litter trained and lives as an indoor cat. Her new home will need to be indoor for her own safety, or have safe enclosed access outside to prevent anything happening to her. She is such an easy and loving cat so we’re sure she’ll bring so much joy and love to any person who’d be lucky to adopt her.
